Collateral Damage

Im not going to go into depth about it.  But Collateral Damage was without a doubt the most challenging figure I have made to date.  I was within seconds of throwing it in the garbage and saying screw it.  After my dog calmed me down, I proceeded to finish assembling what I consider to be probably one of the nicest looking Centaurs I have made to date.

 When I lose my patience, my little one Riley will come running jump up on my lap and start licking my face.  Its so very hard to lose my temper with him around.  I love him.

The Head/Back and Belly are from Palisades.  The belly is cracked.  I ahve 6 loose clear Yellow bellies.  ALL cracked.  That mold is still intact, so I am going to make a new one.  But for now...here he is...

This figure was made using a different resin.  Its more durable and has more give.  Similar in texture/feel to the Glyos figures.  The lighting needs work to grab the right right coloring of the Metallic Blue.
 
I have more pictures to take, but its late right now and I need daylight.  I wont be able to take more pics till this Saturday.  Hopefully this will do for now.

The white lights up the yellow more, but you can also see the shadows more.  But it gives a good color shot of the Metallic Blue.

Im actually VERY FOND of this figure.  I am going to make 1 more Centaur.  But Not now.  I need to cast the legs in Yellow first.  that mold hasnt crapped out yet, so its doable.  Maybe around Christmas time...Will See.  Im ready to close the chapter on the Centaurs for now.  Now I feel good finishing these up.  Im ready to give Roboid my full attention now. 

Expect Roboid pictures sometime this weekend.  I expect I will be making Roboids till Christmas and then come the New Year I am going to start making The ATR Bootleg Set.  Stay tuned...I'll be unvieling more info about it in the New Year.
