There have been 2 Magno Figures I have been wanting to make for a while. I guess I could have made the molds and then just made the figure myself, but with all these Roboids and other projects I am also working on, that wasn't a very good idea. However, Palisades did make a figure I could use and customize for this. I had one extra, but i needed one more and I just picked it up.
Expect to see a couple new magno customs following the release of Roboid. Man, have I been wanting to make these for a while. :~)

ReplyDeleteConsider this... I dismantled 3 Red Clear Force Commanders for the white hilights to make my Chromed Force Commander Magnos and then used black hilights to make 3 Red Clear with Black Force Commanders. With me, almost no figure is safe.
ReplyDeleteMicrobry worked on the PaliMicrogroup and came up with various color designs. Some of which would have been quite awesome had the made them. There are 2 figures I wish they had made but didn't.
And I am sorry for the tease, but Which of the 4 magnos Palisades made am I talking about??? Lets just say, a friend of mine was quoted as saying this,"...Once again you are messing with rare figures."
If I said it was a clear magno...would that help? :~)

ReplyDeletea question..I see you are a great fan of magnos. what do you think about Machine Saurer, the original enemy of Death Cross -Red Falcon-?
I think it is a very interesting figure. Admittedly I don't have one and am quite unfamiliar with it. It looks similar in design to a Dinosaur. I am not big on Dinosaurs although I have been finding them more palatable as of late. I dont have a Transformers Grimlock either. But have been finding myself considering buying one.
ReplyDeleteIs the Machine Saurer a Magno figure? If so I would consider looking for one. As an enemy of the Death Cross/ Red Falcon, it would be a must have for the collection if it were. As that is the 1st consideration for my collection. It needs to be a Magnetic figure.
oh yes of course, Machine Saurer is a magnetic figure just like Red Falcon..there are 2 versions one for Death Cross series (green) and one for Diaclone sieries (blue color)..there even is a sall sized one!

I haven't ever cast the Japanese FC head. But I do have the prototype that was used to make the FC head for an internet group back in 99' called Microtalk.
