Rebuilding…After a Stroke
Its been a while...ivebeen trying to get back to zero. its taken me 6 years...i lost almost everything except my house which i also came close to losing. This all came to ahead a few months back when i suffered a stroke...which medically...there was no reason for me to get. my tests all came back as me being completely healthy. Cholesterol is fine. Blood pressure is 105. The only medical reason i hada stroke...is my carotid artery is quite narrow. it eas only by fluke i hadan appointment to check the nervesin my hand the following week...that i found out id had a stroke.
THEN...my file got marked as URGENT/Emergency...and THEN...wheels started turning. Phone calls were made and THEN i got some medical attention. By the time i came home from that appointment a CT scan was already booked.
But ive had a stroke. ive lost co ordination and some of my fine motor skills in my left hand. it could havebeen LOT worse.
i went to the hospital...spent 10 hours in ER and went home without seeing a Dr. Nextday i went to the biggest hospital...UofA...and spent 11 hours in ER without seeing a Dr. Alberta health Triage lists Heart Attacksand Strokes as priorty #1...yet i spent over 20 hours in ERat 2 different hospitals...WITHOUT EVER SEEING A DR. An inquiry is now uderway to find out WHY ALBERTA HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN THE ER IS A COMPLETE FAILURE. A gentleman beside me actually did have a stroke.
Canadas Health Care is a complete joke. Canadas IDEA of Health Care is to push MAID...Medically Assisted Intovenous Death.
its taken me 6 yearsto get back to where i was...ive lost almost $850k in investments, lost wages and all my savings and my retirement accounts. So...in 2 weeks...we start all over.
ive restructured my life...adopted a new perspective...and have a new attitude.
What Once was Indestructable
Has now its Limits Set.
What used to be Invincible,
Mortality has met.
